§ 2-3. Appointive officers.

  • The following officers shall be appointed and shall be subject to removal by the city council:

    (a)

    City clerk, who shall serve also as city treasurer;

    (b)

    City attorney;

    (c)

    Police chief;

    (d)

    Fire chief;

    (e)

    Building inspector;

    (f)

    Sewer superintendent or sewage treatment plant operator;

    (g)

    Such assistants and deputies as the council may deem necessary;

    (h)

    Such other officers and employees as the council may deem necessary.
